Lots of neat enemies and bosses and allies and friends that you get to meet along your journey. Although the story is very good, i don't really think it's the main aspect of the game. The story of the game is a fairly basic fantasy idea with some neat twists. I don't have much to say on this though as the gameplay and combat isn't the main aspect of the game. The movement is pretty solid even though the jumping is a little clumsy (this is offset later with the ring of jumping which provides lots of fun movement options). I liken most of the combat to dark souls, lots of dodging and hitting over and over again, and you usually have to make use of stun locking when you are surrounded by multiple enemies. I won't sugarcoat it, the gameplay is pretty rough, and it's pretty hard, definitely not for the faint of heart. You can defintley make out what the world should be and there are lots of different enviorments and beautiful vistas that I've found to be very memorable. It might bother some people with a more keen eye at first but once you start playing and try to look past the flawed graphics (the game was made by and indie developer) I belive you'll get immersed enough in the world they won't even bother you anymore. Even though they are a couple years old ( the game was made around 2013) i still think they hold up pretty well. Try not to dwell too much on the graphics when you considering putting a penny down on the game because the gameplay and story does put you way past them. So this is the first thing that people probably look at when they are considering buying the game so it's the first point I'll discuss. So without any further ado, here is my review of "RavenSword: Shadowlands" Be able to play on PC and re-experience the game was a joy though. I will admit, coming back to the game it wasn't quite as good as I remembered and it doesn't stand up to its other PC counterparts of the same era, but it was MADE FOR MOBILE. I played it all in one sitting but i had a blast doing it and was engaged with everything happening. When i originally played this game years ago on an iPad it really blew me away what they did with what they had. Better soundtrack and sound design, much better story in my opinion. Huge graphic, gameplay and movement overhauls. If you've played "Ravensword: The Fallen King" you know that this is already a huge improvement on the part of the developers. Where to even begin. It's important to keep in mind that this game was originally developed for mobile, which is where I first played it.
